TPS Seminar on Re-designing Business Processes

The TPS Programme Office hosted a half day seminar on Re-designing Business Processes in the Coach House, Dublin Castle on 21st May, 2010. Public servants across all sectors attended this free event. Speakers included:-

Mr. Tim Duggan, Department of Finance,
Mr.Tom O’Driscoll, Stratigos (CSTDC Trainer),
Ms. Niamh O’Donoghue, Department of Social Protection,
Mr. Seán Keevey, Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food,
Mr. Leo Stronge, Health Service Executive,
Mr. John O’Connor, Kerry County Council,
Mr. Niall Colgan and Mr. Chris O’Donohoe, Refugee Appeals Tribunal

Each speaker gave interesting and detailed presentations on their experiences with re-designing processes within their own sector.  Feedback from the event was positive and the TPS Programme Office is looking forward to organising more such events in the future – good news, in particular, for those that had to be turned away from this seminar due to over demand!

The CSTDC operates a course on Business Process Improvement (BPI) Programme.  For more details, see www.cstdc.gov.ie.
